The Gainesville Times is reporting that Lake Lanier might be flirting with a record low today, which would be its lowest level in its 50 year history. (Don't do it Lanier!!!) Good news for Lanier, rain is in the forecast for the remainder of the week.

My family used to have a boat on Lanier. Looks like selling it was the right thing to do (it did not have treads or wheels).
