News :: Marietta outlaws pee outside

Fri Jan 11 00:30:58 2008
Marietta, GA

Marietta City Council just passed a "we hate saving water during the drought" law, according to the AJC.  Clearly the city of Marietta doesn't realize how many gallons are being saved a day by peeing outside?!  Since this site was started, based on the people who have officially signed up, we have saved over 10,000 gallons in a little over a month!  That's only people who have signed up on our site.  We have nearly 400 members in our Facebook group, many of which have yet to officially sign up.  If all of them were to sign up, we'd be saving 1200 gallons of water A DAY!

So think about what laws you're passing, Marietta City Council.  You clearly didn't look at all the benefits.

Thanks to Steven who sent us the link to this unfortunate news.

I am going to drive to Marietta to pee outside there on principle. Fight the power!

The story quotes an officer who says that they arrest about 50 people a day for public urination. They also mention how "some" of them are homeless. Good luck getting the $500-$1,000 off of those guys.

Just remember Marietta--its not public urination if you are doing it on your own property!
