News :: National Geographic Human Footprint

National Geographic is airing a new special, Human Footprint, which covers our consumption on Earth.  There is an interesting  "interactive" portion of the site which allows you to estimate the amount of showers you take per week, which can calulate the amount of gallons that you will use in your lifetime.  (If you take 7, five minute showers per week, you will use 28,301 gallons in your lifetime).

They do fail to mention how much water would be saved if you pee outside once per day.  Maybe they wil do that next season.
